چکیده

The enumeration of pseudo-intents is a long-standing problem in which the order plays a major role. In this paper, we present new algorithms that enumerate pseudo-intents in orders that do not necessarily respect the inclusion relation. We show that, confirming established results, this enumeration is equivalent to computing minimal transversals in hypergraphs a bounded number of times.

International Workshop ” What can FCA do for Artificial Intelligence ? ” ( FCA 4 AI at IJCAI 2013 , Beijing , China , August 4 2013 )

In this paper, we are interested in the analysis of sequential data and we propose an original framework based on Formal Concept Analysis (FCA). For that, we introduce sequential pattern structures, an original specification of pattern structures for dealing with sequential data. Pattern structures are used in FCA for dealing with complex data such as intervals or graphs. Here they are adapted ...

Machine Learning methods and applications using Formal Concept Analysis

Machine learning (ML) deals with algorithms that automatically improve with experience where the experience for a ML algorithm is huge repositories of data. Machine learning methods produce a program that fits data to a model from lots of examples that specify the correct output for a given input. Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) is a successful model of learning from positive and negative example...

Formalizing the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) using Formal Concept Analysis (FCA).

analysis (FCA) to support the formal description of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF). An ontology-based framework based on Protégé platform was adopted for the formalization tasks. The ICF was represented as a local terminology which contains a family of lists of pre-coordinated phrases. The ICNP was used as a cross-thesaurus that provides a set of de...

Formal concept analysis in information science

Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) is a method for data analysis, knowledge representation and information management that is widely unknown among information scientists in the USA even though this technology has a significant potential for applications. FCA was invented by Rudolf Wille in the early 80s (Wille, 1982). For the first 10 years, FCA was developed mainly by a small group of researchers a...
